Charlene Hiatt has over 20 years experience with accounting procedures including preparing and implementing budgets and providing full-charge bookkeeping and payroll services to her clients. Charlene, a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, is the owner of Black Bird Bookkeeping, a payroll and bookkeeping company with offices in Los Olivos, California.

Charlene grew up and attended school in Santa Barbara, received her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of LaVerne in Los Angeles and furthered continued her studies in specialized fields such as accounting and as a Notary Public. Charlene has been a resident of the Santa Ynez Valley for over 10 years and is an active member of the Valley’s community.

Charlene understands and values programs that encourage youth athletic activities. She was a cheerleader at San Marcos High School back in the 80’s and now volunteers much of her time with youth football for both the Santa Ynez Valley and the greater Santa Barbara County community. Charlene is excited to bring her business knowledge & success to Big Picture Athletics, and continuing her work in helping young athletes reach their goals.
